Before I begin I'd like to explain the lack of consistent posts: I'm lazy and easily distracted.

Now on to current news: I found a lump. On my testicle. Only it hurts, bad.

So I went to see the doctor, a kindly middle aged woman who, after the examination said that it's most likely not a tumor and I'll need an ultrasound, so I get the appointment set up. (A side note here, the examination was the worst part of the process...not so much that I had to have one, but I just didn't know where to put my hands...I couldn't put them on my hips like superman, or behind my head...or god forbid behind her head =\ I think I just ended up leaning against the table and scratching my chin :S )

Several days go by and I go to the hospital for my ultrasound appointment. We get there, and right as we get signed in a tornado warning hits...I know, I know, it was bad in the surrounding areas and I feel sorry for those effected, but it is meteorologically impossible for a tornado to touch down in Ft. Collins. We're too close to the mountains and too much heat is rising from the ground.

So after being confined in the basement for an hour and a half, I finally got up to radiology only to have to wait for another hour to get the fucking ultrasound done >.<.

Now, this was all on Thursday, I didn't actually hear anything back regarding the results until this afternoon. And that was only after repeated calls to the center.

So, what I've found out: I have an infected node and multiple cysts on both testicles. At least it's not cancer.

The bad news: Not only did they forget to put in my prescription for painkillers today, but I'll likely not be able to get into the urologist until next week. Fucking joy. -.-
